Crash when tablet app rotates

Problem description:
Rotating the tablet to portrait mode crashes the app.
This is a bigger problem on Foldables and small tablets, where the keyboard is more comfortable in landscape, but reading logs/code is better in portrait. The opposite is true in foldables. So we really need the ability to use both orientations.

I have professional Android dev experience and I’m willing to help develop a solution

Expected behavior:
not crash… use whatever is most comfortable

Actual behavior:
Crash

Turn on auto-rotate screen.

I was not able to reproduce the issue that you shared regarding iPad. I do not have a pixel fold or other devices to test. What version of iOS do you have you your iPad? Do you have a video of how to reproduce the issue for iOS?
