Core page is slightly too long

Problem description:
The core banner is slightly too long for the page, and adds a horizontal scroll bar.

Expected behavior:
The page only has a vertical scroll bar.

Actual behavior:
It has a very small horizontal scroll bar.

Steps to reproduce:
Visit the core page.

It depends on your screen dimensions. At 1920x1080 it’s a pretty big scrollbar.

I wasn’t referring to the vertical sidebar, on smaller screens there’s a horizontal one.
