I am posting this from an old account because I can’t log in to my more recent account. When I made the account I decided to register it with the same email as this account. This worked for a while, but I haven’t gone on this site for a few months and when I tried to log in again it would try to log me onto this account. My newer account has all of my recent work and all I have on this account is work from years ago. Is there any way I can still use the newer account?
Welcome to Ask! My first thought is to change the email on your old account, then try to log in to your new account. Are you using sign in with Google or something? Otherwise you should just be able to use a password.

I tried that and unfortunately, it did not work. I have been using sign in with google, which is why I thought I used the same email, because when I use my other email it says to be logged in with this email. There is a chance I made the account with my other email, but when I switched my email I made the dumb mistake of using my school email, which can’t receive emails from outside the organization. So now I have dug myself deeper into a hole because for some reson whenever I try to switch my email back it says the password is incorrect. Is there anything else I can do?

So you don’t know your password but need it to change your email? You might need staff intervention then.

Before I made this post I tried a few things, one of them being resetting my password, I used my email to reset the password on this account and I have it written down. The password worked when I switched my account to my school account, but now it won’t work when I try to switch it back to my regular email.
