Can't deploy my python telegram bot code

When I joined the website there was an always on button. I paid a few days ago for the Hacker account to get that feature just to find out it doesn’t exist anymore. Then I paid for cycles just to find out I don’t need them. How do I make this run when my PC is off? I’m $17 into this website and can’t keep it running.

When I try to Autoscale deploy I get this error.

09/10/23 10:12:48 PM
hostingpid1: an open port was not detected

error: The deployment failed to initialize due to a configuration or code error. Check the logs tab for more information. For additional support, please post on and a staff member will take a look. - 2023-09-11T06:26:55.309Z

Hi @pd20211 , welcome to the forums!
I’m gonna answer the first part (I’m not an expert in Deployments).
Always-On has been replaced with Autoscale Deployments as that is more flexible and is cheaper (free for Hacker).
Hope this helps!

Hey @pd20211!

We recommend that you run your Telegram bot in a Reserved VM and make sure to set it to “Background Worker” as the Deploy option. Please let me know if that works!
