Can't add Images folder to HTML,CSS, JS

I am on a free acount.
I can’t seem to add a folder to the project.
Is there a limitation that prevents adding a folder to HTML,CSS, JS projects? A few years ago I could do it and when I open these old ones the folder is there.
However now when I select “Add folder” or try to drag one in, it shows the green ‘+’ but no folder appears. No error message either.

You can add folders. You just have to press the folder creation button.

OP is having an issue with the folder creation button.
