Can Teams for Education be used by a student?

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if a student at a school who has been authorised to teach a small “club” can create a Teams for Education account.
Thank you!

hello @god286 ! Welcome to the forums!

To answer that question, yes. As long as it has to do with teaching programming, and that teachers have given that student permission to teach a small club, yes you can definitely create a Teams for Edu acc.

Okay, thank you, also one final question, for the questions “For what school, organization, club, or online platform do you plan to use Teams for Education?” and “Please provide a link to your entry in your organization’s directory or website, or a link to your online class.” what should I put (I was planning to create the website later as part of a class project)? Do I have to give my school name to replit?

Perhaps Nonprofit?

If you are planning to create a website later as part of a class project and you do not have a website or online class yet, you can simply mention that you are planning to create one in the future. You may leave the “Please provide a link to your entry in your organization’s directory or website, or a link to your online class” question blank or write a note specifying that you will provide the information later when it becomes available. ( Unless replit does not let you provide the info later. I haven’t created a TFE ( teams for edu ) account yet )

As for the question “For what school, organization, club, or online platform do you plan to use Teams for Education?”, you can provide the name of your school or educational institution if you are planning to use Teams for Education within that context. However, if you are using Teams for Education for personal learning purposes or for a personal project, you can mention it as well. It is up to you to decide if you want to provide your school name to replit.

Yeah! Nonprofit is possible. Anyways its a teaching club, not a club where you make a game and profit from it.

So I must provide my school name to Replit? I don’t want to share the information but they are providing Teams for Education free of cost. Thanks everyone!

You are providing the school name and other stuff, but replit won’t reveal the school name or anything private.

I know but i don’t want to give it to replit in the first place.
Maybe I will give it on an alternate account later?
