There are more Google users than there are Replit users. Therefore, if you implement login via Google, then the site will have more users than with login via Replit.
It seems that Booogle
is more advertised via Replit
compared to anywhere else, based on what Iāve seen. So, it makes sense to stick with ReplitAuth
instead of switching systems completely.
it says failed to connect
false, unfortunately.
You are putting users trust into Replit, and there are some implicit problems:
- You are relying on Replit, which makes your users sitting ducks.
- Replit doesnāt have 2FA
It is. Iāve tested it; itās just not a standard method of āloggingā out. You can log out and log in using ReplitAuth
. Iām just saying itās a good option if you plan to keep the audience solely towards Replit
users. If itās planned to be widespread and more than a Replit
audience, then yeah, switch to Google
. But for now, I donāt see any issues.
Thatās a pretty bold statement. Iād say Google provides a lot more security.
guys⦠why not just both login with Replit and Google, lol
id system? How would you track/merge different accounts?
UX/UI Improvements
-
Loading Spinner | There is now a loading spinner that is shown when you open a folder or after you select a way to revise.
-
Buttons CTA improvements | The primary button will be filled and secondary + tertiary buttons will only have the outline. The colors for secondary + tertiary buttons have been changed to fit the color theme of Booogle more.
-
Flashcards Improvements | There is now a progress indicator under the flashcard and the buttons have also been move so they are just under the card.
This is not the end of these UI/UX improvements as there are more to come!
