An error I never had before

Question:
This program was working before and I was using it for my weekly shopping. Out of a sudden it stopped working without me changing anything in the code. What’s wrong?

Current behavior:
I receive this error when trying to run :

--> npm install
npm ERR! code ENOTEMPTY
npm ERR! syscall rename
npm ERR! path /home/runner/simpleshopping/node_modules/@types/node
npm ERR! dest /home/runner/simpleshopping/node_modules/@types/.node-StBAtl0D
npm ERR! errno -39
npm ERR! ENOTEMPTY: directory not empty, rename '/home/runner/simpleshopping/node_modules/@types/node' -> '/home/runner/simpleshopping/node_modules/@types/.node-StBAtl0D'

npm ERR! A complete log of this run can be found in: /home/runner/.npm/_logs/2024-03-14T12_10_36_666Z-debug-0.log
exit status 217

Desired behavior
I need the program to work like before.

code snippet

If you changed nothing try to just clear the npm cache using

npm cache clean --force

If that doens’t work try to manually delete the node_modules folder and the package-lock.json file in your project and after deleting these, run npm install again.

Just a double-check, did you intentionally leave a . on the end of --force?
