I think Replit Ask should have an AI model that helps solve questions, such as PikaBot for Replit Ask.
Actually, Discourse has a feature like that, to help you categorize your answer into tags/topics, paraphrasing etc. Apparently, it has a ‘Summarise’ button for the topic too. (But that may be a different plugin)
However, I believe Ask is not high enough to install the plugin(s)? @not-ethan can you confirm this?
EDIT: Found the topic @RedCoder
I would also like to mention that maintaining an AI bot costs some money
I’m fine with paying.
So you would pay a lot of money (I don’t know the numbers but my guess is hundreds a month)? Just to upgrade our hosting tier so we can get the AI plugin?
Hi @RedCoder , @not-ethan !
There is also a bot by @techwithanirudh called AnirudhGPT. It is used on AMC, and has auto-mod features.
It uses OpenAI too.
We are not granting any more API keys to people for any reason including to make bots so that wont be happening
@not-ethan I was hoping to make my own to some extent and thought it would be max $20 a month to maintain it. But, hundreds a month – yeah no.
Sad
Is it possible to do with web scraping?
It’s only a one-way thing no? You can’t inject data…
Well it’s upgrading the hosting tier not just the plugin. So we get a lot more than just that in it.
Yes though rate limits are strict. Plus any community guideline violations it makes we wills take the proper action against it. As if it’s allowed we would need to discuss internally
And also, there is a chance that AI bots can generste unnessacary content that may violate the guidelines. This could be why there is none, Also you need a key.
I think they mean using your user api key. That’s what the client uses. Like your connect.sid
