Always On option is missing

I noticed today that the “Always On” feature is gone? I have paid for the hacker account so I’m not sure why it’s not there anymore?

It is replaced by Autoscale and static deployments.

Seems complicated since before I just had to click a button for “Always on”… I am only running a discord bot, will this new thing work with that? Are there any tutorials?

To my knowledge yes. I didn’t try hosting a discord bot on it so I cant say with 100% certainly.

What a shame… it was so easy before. Perhaps time to look elsewhere for hosting.

I do agree its not as easy/quick but IMO its worth it. Since always on just made sure the repl would turn on when its shut down to use server resources more efficiently. But deployments are more reliable and the dedicated VM deployment have 99.9% uptime without restarting
